Basic care skills used in a long-term health care facility. Approved through Oklahoma State Dept. of Health. Certification required. Prerequisite of CPR/HCP. (96 hrs)
1. Students must be 18 years of age: Summer session only: students may be 16 years of age2. Must PASS OSBI Background Check3. Sign an Affidavit of Lawful Presence in the United States4. Students are required to provide documentation of vaccinations MMR, Negative PPD, Varicella history, Tetanus, HEP B (or sign waiver to omit) beginning of classes. 5. Clinical Facilities may require proof of COVID vaccine in order to participate in clinical setting.6. Students will be required to wear RRTC Name badge, scrubs to clinical site, duty shoes, and watch with a second hand. 7. Must attend 100% of all hours in training and complete 16 hrs of clinical instruction to be recommended for State clinical skill and written exam. 8. Pass Clinical Exam with 80% accuracy and 100% on critical skills. Allowed up to three attempts. There will be an extra charge for the 2nd and 3rd attempts. 9. Pass Written Exam with 70% accuracy. Allowed up to three attempts. There will be an extra charge for the 2nd and 3rd attempts.
