Course description
Students learn advanced skills for diabetes and glucose monitoring and insulin administration. Preparing CMA students to work in LTC or assisted living facilities.
Prerequisites for this Course
1. Must provide proof of High School Diploma or GED2. Students must be 18 years of age3. Sign an Affidavit of Lawful Presence in the United States4. Be currently certified as a Certified Long Term Care Aide and Certified Medication Aide5. Adv CMA – Diabetes Monitoring/Insulin Administration: Must attend 100% of all hours in training and complete 80% written exam and preform demonstration of skill exam with100%.
