Medication Long-term care state certification test. Prerequisite:Must currently be a state Long-Term CareAide to enroll. Must read, write and speakEnglish, have six months experience in LongTerm Care, be 18 years of age, and have a high school diploma or equivalency diploma
1. Must have:a. Provide proof High School Diploma or GEDb. Read on 8th grade academic levelc. Six Months work experience as LTC2. Students must be 18 years of age3. Sign an Affidavit of Lawful Presence in the United States4. Students are required to provide documentation of vaccinations MMR, Negative PPD, Varicella history, Tetanus, HEP B (or sign waiver to omit)5. Clinical Facility may require proof of COVID vaccine6. Students will be required to wear RRTC Name badge, scrubs to clinical site, duty shoes, and watch with a second hand.7. Must attend 100% of all hours in training and complete 20 patients medication pass with 100% to be recommended for written exam.8. Pass Written Exam with 70% accuracy. Three attempts allowed. Extra charge for 2nd and 3rd attempt at retesting.
