Course description
This 2025 American Heart Association Heartsaver First-Aid CPR AED Course is a blended learning class through online training and an in-person skills check. This includes both components and offers flexibility in completing the training on the student’s schedule. This course is designed for School Staff, Daycare Providers, Business and Industry and other safety professionals. This course meets OSHA requirements and topics include CPR for Adults, Children, and Infants, use of an AED, Injury emergencies, Environmental Emergencies, and Controlling Bleeding and Bandaging. You will be sent the AHA online course link after registering with the Pontotoc Technology Center. You will need to contact Michael Tuley by email at mtuley@pontotoctech.edu following your completion of the online portion and schedule your skills performance test to be held in person at PTC. You will have 2 months to complete both the online and the in-person skills check. The AHA Heartsaver First-Aid CPR AED certification is valid for 2 years, and students receive their completion card via email.
