Course description
This American Heart Association Basic Life Support course (BLS) for Health care professionals and is a blended class where the classroom part is completed online by the student and the inperson skills check is completed later. This includes both components and offers the flexibility of completing the training on the students schedule. Course topics include CPR for adults, child and infant, use of AED, airway management and relief of choking victims. You will be sent an email with a course link to complete online course. You will need to contact PTC at 580-310-2226, or email at mtuley@pontotoctech.edu following your completion of the online portion, to schedule your skills performance test, held in person at PTC. You will have approximately 2 months to complete both the online and the in person skills check. This BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification is valid for 2 years and students will receive an electronic completion card via email.
