Course description

You are interested in advancing your knowledge about electrical devices and more advanced AC/DC circuits. Sizing of transformers and calculating the power loads. Further in-depth instruction into devices generally used in control circuits including relays, fuses, circuit breakers, motor starter/ contactors, thermal overloads, current limiting devices, and up to SCR Motor control devices, customized to fit the company. A minimum of 6 enrollments is required for this class to occur. The listed price reflects the in-district course cost. Students not living in a career tech district must pay twice the fee listed for this course.
