Course description
The PTC Bumper to Bumper Program is an approved FMCSA training provider for the Theory of Entry Level Driver Training. It is a self paced online curriculum that is accomplished in a classroom setting.Subject Matter is: Basic Operations, Orientation, Control Systems/Dashboard, Pre & Post Trip Inspections, Basic Controls, Shifting/Operating Transmissions, Backing & Docking, Coupling & Uncoupling, Safe Operating Practices, Vehicle Systems, reporting Malfunctions, & Non-driving Activities.
Prerequisites for this Course
One of the basic requirements for any CDL Class A License is that the candidate needs to be a minimum 21 years of age and be able to pass the eye exam. Besides this, he/she should posses a valid state License. Drivers who have moving violations are strictly prohibited from applying to this license. Carry all the necessary paper work such as state issued ID, address, SSN, proof of Lawful presence in US, etc displayed in English. You may have to surrender the out of state license in some states.
