This American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider Course is for healthcare professionals who work in clinics, hospitals, and emergency services. Course topics include CPR for Adult, Child and Infant, use of an AED, airway management and relief of choking victims. This course meets the prerequisites for healthcare training and is required to maintain state and national healthcare licenses and certifications. This AHA Blended eLearning Course provides students with flexible online learning and includes a “Hands on” skill check here at PTC. You will need to contact us at 580-310-2226 or email at mtuley@pontotoctech.edu following your completion of the online portion and schedule your skills performance test to be held in person at PTC. The BLS for Healthcare Provider certification is valid for 2 years, and students receive an electronic completion card through email. The listed price reflects the in-district course cost. Students not living in a career tech district must pay twice the fee listed for this course.
