Statistically, teen drivers are involved in a high percentage of car accidents. Because of that, first time drivers should get all the practice they can before they get behind the wheel. State required driver education and training can help make you a safer driver and make the roads of Oklahoma safer for all. State required driver education is 30 hours of in-class curriculum and 6 hours of behind the wheel driver training. The driving schedule will differ from the 5-7pm class schedule. On days students are scheduled to drive, they will be in the vehicle with the instructor and another student. Each student completes 30 minutes of driving per session until the six (6) hours are achieved. The class end date will be adjusted once the class enrollment has been finalized.
Minimum: Must be at least 15 years of age and enrolled in Secondary school. We also provide training for Adults. NOTE: Students are no longer required to show 8th grade reading proficiency when applying for a driver's permit or license.
