Emergency Medical Technician is a 256 hour course that helps develop communication and critical thinking skills to interact with patients, nurses, physicians, first responders, firefighters, and law enforcement. Students will use advanced diagnostic equipment to perform detailed medical and trauma patient assessment. Upon successful completion of the EMT program, the student will receive a certificate of completion and the privilege to sit for the Oklahoma State and National Registry of EMT's examination.
Must be 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED to enroll. Must score no less than a 5 on the following WorkKeys tests: Math, Graphic, and Workplace Documentation to be considered for admission into the program.
