Course description
This is a hands-on training course designed to provide firefighters with the knowledge and skills needed to safely and effectively operate in and around brush trucks during wildland fires. Participants will learn brush truck capabilities and limitations, apparatus familiarization, pump and water system operations, hose deployment, nozzle selection, driving and positioning techniques, fire attack tactics, safe operation in rural and off-road environments.
