Course Objectives:
• Understanding Mental Health: Gain a basic understanding of common mental health issues that can affect students, including anxiety, depression, and stress.
• Recognizing Signs: Learn to identify early warning signs and symptoms of mental health challenges in students.
• Supporting Students: Discover simple strategies for supporting students who may be experiencing mental health issues.
• Creating a Supportive Environment: Understand how to create a classroom environment that promotes mental well-being and reduces stigma around mental health.
• Resources and Referrals: Familiarize with the resources and referral processes available for students in need of additional mental health support.
