Entrance Exam Required before enrolling in course. The FLEX Lab is designed with the self-directed student in mind. Flexible start times, extended hours, and online curriculum allow for a self-paced learning experience, which is ideal for many working adults. Although a qualified instructor is present, FLEX students are expected to have a working knowledge of computers. The Long Term Care Nurse Aide (LTCNA) program introduces basic nurse aide skills with theory, lab and clinical experiences. Skills are taught in the classroom and laboratory, with clinical experience being provided through the GCTC lab and long term care settings, totaling 96 hours. Approved by the OSDH-Nurse Aide Registry, the LTCNA program meets all requirements for testing to become a CNA in Oklahoma.
