The Flex Lab is designed with the self-directed student in mind. Flexible start times, extended hours, and online curriculum allow for a self-paced learning experience, which is ideal for many working adults. Although a qualified instructor is present, Flex students are expected to have a working knowledge of computers. The Certified Medication Aide (CMA) is a certified nurse aide who has successfully completed a CMA program approved by the OSDH-Nurse Aide Registry. The CMA is allowed to perform their duties in long term care facilities, developmentally disabled facilities, residential care facilities and adult day care facilities. The Green Country Tech Center CMA course is approved by the OSDH-Nurse Aide Registry and includes 40 hours classroom and 16 hours clinical practice. Entrance Exam Required. Must be 18 years and be High School Graduate or have GED. Current LTCNA or DDCA and6 months experience. Must have social security card and current Government issued ID.
