Course description
Course Objectives:
• Understanding Child Abuse and Neglect: Gain an overview of the different forms of child abuse and neglect, including physical, emotional, and sexual abuse, as well as neglect.
• Recognizing Signs of Child Sexual Abuse: Learn to identify the signs and symptoms that may indicate a child is being sexually abused.
• Legal and Ethical Responsibilities: Understand the legal and ethical obligations of educators and school staff in reporting suspected abuse.
• Reporting Procedures: Familiarize with the proper procedures for reporting suspected child abuse and neglect, including the necessary documentation and communication with authorities.
• Support and Resources: Learn about the resources and support systems available to children who are victims of abuse, and how to connect them with the appropriate services.
