Course description
This class covers a variety of topics, including: legal issues that HR professionals face, such as employment law, FLSA, FMLA, and COBRA. An overview of the roles and responsibilities of HR professionals, including recruitment, training, benefits administration, and maintaining a positive workplace culture. Compensation planning, benchmarking, and retirement plan administration. HR metrics and strategic thinking and planning. HR management systems issues and solutions. Review of labor practices, including collective bargaining and labor relations. Technology needs, and strategically aligned within the organization and with team members.*Test for Certification of HR Manager in Practical Application follows immediately as the participants of final class available once the participant has completed the previous certification classes.
